Client Manager

to join our team -- someone who thrives on building relationships, supporting their team, and going beyond the numbers.

About the Role

You'll be responsible for managing your own portfolio of clients across a range of industries, acting as their key point of contact and trusted advisor. You'll review and oversee compliance work, lead on management reporting and planning, and support our team of junior accountants.

This is a client-facing, advisory-led role where you'll work closely with business owners to support their growth, profitability, and strategic goals -- all while contributing to a collaborative and progressive team culture.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary relationship manager for a diverse client portfolio Oversee preparation and review of accounts, tax returns, and compliance filings Deliver management accounts, forecasts, and advisory support Support clients with bookkeeping and finance system improvements Provide cashflow analysis, profit improvement strategies, and business planning advice Supervise, review, and support junior staff development Identify opportunities for added value and additional services Contribute to business development and client referrals
What We're Looking For

4-5+ years' experience in an accountancy practice (essential) ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent / finalist) Experience using Xero (essential); familiarity with cloud-based systems Confident communicator with excellent client relationship skills Commercially aware, proactive, and growth-minded Strong technical ability and attention to detail Comfortable leading workflow and delivering against timeframes and budgets
