Job Description

A position has arisen for a Client Focal Point at our Altens base with the requirement for frequent travel to our Edzell base. This role will involve being Peterson's primary interface with the Client and third-party providers for service delivery, including the investigation and resolution of issues and queries.

The successful candidate would be the primary point of contact for the client on operational matters and team lead for assigned resources. They would also be required to co-ordinate the movement of client material flows through close liaison with both internal functions, client and third party providers to ensure that customer demands and deadlines are met. They would hold responsibility in ensuring client and Peterson systems and records are up to date and accurately reflect the materials movements and inventory held on site.As well as vessel cargo operations being planned with close liaison with both internal functions, client and third party providers.

The successful candidate should be able to communicate effectively within a team environment and be able to demonstrate an excellent awareness of Health & Safety and strong customer service. They will also be required to demonstrate an ability to use their own initiative and be a natural problem solver.

The ideal candidate should have operations/logistics and warehouse experience. This would ideally suit someone who has previously worked as a Materials Controller or Focal Point position. They should also have F/L Counter balance Certificate up to B2 RTITB, COSHH awareness, experience of using warehouse management systems (SAP), Environmental/Waste awareness, and Dangerous Goods awareness, proficient in MS Office and hold a UK driving license.
