The role of the Client Director is to guide and collaborate with local and regional agency colleagues to drive exemplary practices split across Mastercard and The Co-op. On the Co-op side, they will work across the Food part of the business, covering National. Live & Local Membership & E-commerce as well as collaborating with the planning leads, across all other business units. The primary focus of Mastercard will be on digital transformation, aiming to establish itself as a forward-thinking, innovative, and purpose-driven digital payment enabler, empowering everyday transactions.

Managing and overseeing planning and media delivery at annual, quarterly, and campaign cadences \xe2\x80\x93 ensuring that key planning principles are communicated and delivered against while being able to adapt and respond to changing business and market dynamics.
Leading strategic direction for your clients by working with the strategy/planning partner, client account directors, and digital specialist.
Supporting the integration of planning solutions into the network and effectively translating strategic plans into consistently good execution, working closely with local leads.
Collaborating with inter-agency partners (across Digital, Creative, PR, Social, and Retail) will be a key responsibility for the CD, ensuring a fully integrated response to client briefs is always delivered.
Working with the Client/Managing Partner to devise and implement TRR/Service Review action plans.
Setting the agenda for the media Test & Learn plan & Innovation Roadmap and working with the comms and activation teams to ensure that the plan is successfully rolled out.
What you\xe2\x80\x99ll bring
6+ Years experience in a similar position.
Strong strategic and leadership expertise.
Compelling and effective storytelling is critical to this role, so a strong grasp of media theory and the ability to consult multiple sources to validate & support media recommendations is key.
Experience across both brand and performance.
Background and experience in measurement projects such as attribution, MMM & econometrics would be useful for these accounts.
It would also be nice for you to have
Self-starter with a can-do attitude, who can work autonomously on projects if needed.
A grocery retail experience would be ideal.
