The Role and Team
Client Development Manager (CDM) is the face of apetito and is crucial to the success of apetito customer partnerships.
This is an Account Manager style role to enhance our proposition through bringing to life our \xe2\x80\x98Passion for Service\xe2\x80\x99 value supporting existing and new customers with a clear view of keeping customers longer and enabling us to grow faster.
As well as deliver on our \xe2\x80\x98Passion for Service\xe2\x80\x99, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be pivotal to the retention of business and securing long term partnerships with your customer base of 50-100 accounts. You will need to allocate customers based on revenue and growth opportunity into differing service tiers from email, phone, online and in person service to ensure effective use of time and delivery of opportunities.
You\xe2\x80\x99ll manage your accounts to ensure sustained revenue from customers and through understanding of customers\xe2\x80\x99 needs you will identify and convert opportunities to grow revenue within your customer base.
This role is suited to a self-starter, (after a thorough induction) you\xe2\x80\x99ll manage your own diary and need to allocate your time wisely, ensuring customer service levels and relationships are sustained as well as delivering on growth opportunities. Experience in a Catering Consultant or Account Manager role would be ideal foundations to build on.
You need to be happy working independently to achieve your objectives whilst also being a team player who contributes a team environment to deliver shared objectives. Although this is a remote role, you will frequently work with other colleagues from within the team, a cohesive team culture is really important to us.
This role is based from home, 3-4 days per week in your region with customers and some overnight travel will be required.
Due to the nature of this role a Disclosure Scotland Check will be required.
