Job Description
The main purpose of the post is to undertake all duties associated with refuse collection, street cleansing and burial grounds maintenance. Duties include: the collection of refuse from domestic and commercial premises; duties associated with street cleansing and gully emptying; litter picking; collection of bulky household waste; grass cutting.
Requirements You should have previous experience of working in a Labourer post in difficult environments and be able to work in all weather conditions and have experience of mechanical plant operation and/or small tools. A full, unrestricted driving licence is essential. Salary for the above post is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance. Appointment to the post will be on the first point of grade.
