Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaning Operative to join our team at Richmond Shopping Centre. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various environments. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to communicate effectively. This role will be 4/5 early mornings from 6am and 1 evening shift eg 6pm to 9pm
Responsibilities
Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces. Ensure all areas are kept clean and tidy, including restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Follow cleaning schedules and protocols to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure satisfaction with cleaning services.
Requirements
Previous experience in a cleaning role is advantageous but not essential. Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A proactive approach to problem-solving and time management skills are essential.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.31 per hour
Expected hours: 16 per week
Schedule:
Monday to Friday Weekend availability
