Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in communal areas of blocks of flats in Torquay, Paignton and Brixham.

Own transport required as not all sites are on bus routes.

The hours are flexible but there is 2.5 hours required every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Jobs are paid at a fixed number of hours regardless of the time (i.e. measured work) it takes to complete the job and thus pay works out greater than NMW.

Responsibilities

Perform cleaning duties in designated areas, mainly communal areas of flats. Ensure all surfaces are dusted, vacuumed, and mopped as required. Dispose of waste appropriately and maintain recycling protocols. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure satisfaction with cleaning services. Follow established health and safety guidelines while performing cleaning tasks. Drive to various locations as needed for cleaning assignments.

Experience

Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Demonstrated customer service skills to enhance client satisfaction.
