We currently have several permanent vacancies Monday to Friday on a 40-week contract.

HIGH SCHOOLS

Balwearie High School - Cleaner

20 hours per week - 2 posts (3:30pm to 7:30pm) 40-week permanent contract.

15 hours per week - 1 post (4:00pm to 7:00pm) 40-week permanent contract.

St Andrews RC High School - Cleaner

10 hours per week - 1 post (4:00pm to 6:00pm) 40-week permanent contract

PRIMARY SCHOOLS

Kirkcaldy North Primary School - Cleaner

10 hours per week - 1 post (4:00pm to 6:00pm) 40-week permanent contract

Burntisland Primary School - Cleaner

20 hours per week - 1 post (3:30pm to 7:30pm) 40-week permanent contract

You will earn a competitive salary of

23,783.40 pro-rata

We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of 12.67 per hour for this post, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends. This work is about ensuring pupils and staff can return to a clean and safe environment every school day. You will go home each day knowing you have made a difference. No previous experience is required as on the job training is given, working towards The Cleaning Operatives Proficiency Certificate

The Person

Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.

You will be required to attend Induction Training before starting in post.
