Cleaner / Housekeeper
to join our friendly team in our beautiful
respite chalets
. We are looking for a cleaner who understands the importance of creating a clean, safe, and serene environment for the individuals we support.
About My Life:

My Life was established in 2012 as a result of a group of people with disabilities and their families wanting something different to traditional types of health/social care services and wanting more choice and control over their own lives. We pride ourselves on being a unique service. We offer personalised support to a diverse range of individuals living in their own homes and in our respite chalets. Each person has their own dedicated team, delivering support that's tailored specifically to their needs and preferences. This isn't a one-size-fits-all approach--it's about making sense for them and making a difference.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and maintain
the chalets to the highest standards, ensuring that each space is spotless, safe, and comfortable for our guests
Ensure kitchens, bathrooms, and communal areas are thoroughly cleaned and organised, promoting both hygiene and relaxation
Make sure that clean
towels and bedding
are fresh, comfortable, and ready for each guest
Pay close attention to high-touch areas such as doorknobs, light switches, and remote controls, ensuring everything is
sanitised and safe for use
Monitor and manage
cleaning supplies, ensuring that everything is fully stocked and ready for use
Follow
health and safety procedures
to maintain a safe environment for both staff and guests
Work as part of a compassionate team, understanding the specific needs of our guests, and creating a
welcoming atmosphere
