Why not join one of our many teams of cleaners in Schools in Dunfermline and surrounding area. We currently have permanent vacancies in Primary Schools covering as required on a backshift Monday to Friday only.

Pittencrieff Primary School - 2 posts x 12.5 hours per week 40-week contract (2.5 hours per day as required from 3:00pm - 5:30pm)


You will earn a competitive salary of 23,783.40 pro rata and have access to a range of benefits, including:


We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of 12.67 per hour for this post, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends. Pay is annualised for 40-week contracts (equal instalments every 4 week pay period) Access to and support with training opportunities and qualifications for the job. This work is about ensuring pupils and staff can return to a clean and safe environment every school day. You will go home each day knowing you have made a difference. No previous experience is required as on the job training is given, working towards The Cleaning Operatives Proficiency Certificate.


The Person



Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.



You will be required to attend a full days Induction Training before starting in post.
