Job Overview

Cleaning Operative

Deliver excellent service standards for the delivery of routine planned and periodic cleaning for a Mitie customer. This role in Lincoln Buildings Victoria Street Belfast



Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 12.5 hours plus per week. Shifts commence at 06:00pm to 8:30pm

Salary: \xc2\xa310.42 per hours.

Main Duties

• Cleaning floors, storeroom, offices, desks, staff facilities of retail stores, offices, airports and factories across Northern Ireland.
• Engage with customers and provide feedback to regional management.

Cleaning experience is preferred however training can be provided.

• Reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude.
• Ability to work to a schedule and as part of a team with changes to work patterns at short notice
• Capable of working to their own initiative where appropriate.
• Be open and honest.
• Be self-driven and determined.
• Strive for continuous improvements in service delivery.
• Clean driving license

In your new role as a Cleaning Operative you will ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order and meeting all agreed SLAs. Build your knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, when the work needs to be carried out and all cleaning equipment and chemicals used on the premises while following Health and Safety requirements. You will need to undertake successfully all training required to deliver the cleaning role. You will be required to work within a team and can work under their own initiative. You will need to build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, delivery excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.

In order to be successful in this role you will need have the ability to communicate and read basic English, previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential and have a flexible approach to the role. You will need to be open, honest, self-driven and determined. You\'ll need to be reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude.
