Start Date: September 2023
Contract: Full-Time
GSL Education are actively looking for Classroom Assistants for our client schools in Bolton.
The school aims to provide young people with skills to overcome learning barriers for the future so that they can thrive in society.
As a Successful Classroom Assistant, You Should
- Have experience working in a specialist School, provision, or environment.
- Have previous experience supporting the emotional and social needs of children or young people.
- Have experience assisting teachers in the classroom with pupil\'s academic, emotional, and social needs.
- Be an enthusiastic educator with a dedication to supporting vulnerable young people.
- Have strong behaviour management skills and be confident towards managing challenging behaviour.
- Have experience supporting young people with autism, learning difficulties and social, emotional, and mental health needs.
- Have a child only DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
- Have at least two years of work experience in the UK
