Key Stage 2 Teacher
Drighlington, BD11
Veritas are currently looking to appoint a dedicated and passionate Year 6 Teacher to start working full time after the easter holidays. The school is looking for a qualified Teacher who will be leading classes of around 30 pupils with all mixed abilities and understand the current national curriculum.
About the role * Able to plan and prepare engaging lessons
- The pupils will have mixed abilities so the teacher will need to have the ability to differentiate their lessons to suit all
- Be able to manage challenging behaviour if it arises
- Marking work and able to provide structured feedback
- Supporting children on a day-to-day basis to help them develop and grow
- Previous experience working in KS2
- Be organised and able to effectively pre plan
- A genuine passion for teaching and encouraging children to learn
- Have a DBS on update service or willing to apply
- Be able to provide professional references to cover you for 2 years
