Company Background

Pattrick & Thompsons Limited, a Royal Warrant holder, has been trading for over 150 years as a timber merchant in Kings Lynn. It supplies timber and building materials across England as well as the local area. A new Class 2 Driver is now required.

Responsibilities

As well as providing excellent customer service to all of our customers and being a key part of a busy timber delivery team the successful candidate will fulfil the following duties:

Providing a reliable and efficient multi-drop delivery service to customers across much of England.

Being an ambassador of excellent customer service for Pattrick & Thompsons whilst out delivering to our customers.

Ensure all relevant paperwork is correctly filled in and return each day to ensure correct invoices are raised and POD's are all in place.

Drivers may be required to handball a small amount of goods on occaision.

Working at our Kings Lynn site in the warehouse or yard on occasion to allow all drivers to keep within contracted hours.

Adhere to all legal & operational requirements of the companies Operators Licence as directed by the Transport Manager .

Experience

Possession of clean Class 2 HGV/LGV licence essential.

A minimum of 12 months Class 2 driving is essential.

Hi-ab crane operator licence desirable but not essential.
