THE ROLE
Our Drivers are integral to our customer experience; working in a small team this role encompasses a variety of tasks, which include;
Delivering Plant and Powered access on a class 2 wagon
Delivering small tools on a Transit style vehicle
Daily vehicle checks
Completing delivering and collection on a mobile solution
Assisting with loading and unloading of customer vehicles at the depot
Willing and flexible attitude
This is a customer focused role dealing with the Building Trade and General Public. Knowledge of plant and tools would be beneficial, however we do offer a variety of internal and external courses, where appropriate.
Drivers must hold a valid Class 2 driving licence and have up-to-date Tacho and CPC cards
This position would suit a person of reasonable fitness who is capable of lifting and moving heavy equipment whilst adhering to Health & Safety limits.
There may be times when cover for holiday and sickness at other Depots is required.
PARTICULARS
Hours of Work: 7.30 am/5 pm Monday to Friday (alternate Saturday mornings 8 am/12 noon)
Starting Salary: 27,401 per annum
Saturday mornings are paid at time and a half
Holidays: 20 days plus Bank Holidays
Sick Pay: After qualifying period
Birthday Holiday: After qualifying period
