Job Description

We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to plan, design, and oversee construction and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will be involved in every phase of development, from initial concept through to project completion and site handover.

Responsibilities:

Develop and prepare detailed engineering designs and technical documentation

Interpret architectural drawings, site plans, and project concepts to create workable designs

Conduct site surveys, analyze soil, terrain, and hydrological data, and incorporate findings into project plans

Estimate costs and prepare budgets for materials, labor, and equipment

Perform feasibility studies, including environmental impact assessments and risk analysis

Draft technical specifications, project schedules, and construction procedures

Monitor ongoing site activities to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

Guide and support contractors and site personnel during implementation

Ensure all work adheres to legal, environmental, and regulatory requirements

Provide technical input and respond to engineering-related queries

Maintain and update project databases and documentation

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and objectives

Skills and Competencies:

Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other design tools

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Solid understanding of site planning, grading, drainage, and structural components

Knowledge of relevant building codes and legal regulations

Excellent communication and project management abilities

Familiarity with GIS, survey tools, and basic programming/scripting is a plus

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field

Professional certification or licensure (or working towards it) preferred

Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar engineering role

Pay: 31,935.97-53,817.40 per year
