Civil Design Team Leader

Are you looking for a permanent opportunity with a leading design consultancy?
Salary: \xc2\xa355,000 to \xc2\xa370,000 plus bonus, and double matched pension up to 4% (8% from employer)
Location: Birmingham office, 3 days per week hybrid/remote working.
My client is looking to hire a Chartered Principal or Senior Civil Design Engineer, who will join them and lead their design team in the Birmingham office and deliver works across their Rail portfolio.
My client is looking for individuals from a design background with management experience to assist on both structural and lineside Civils work.
This consultancy has an unrivalled work bank with 3 privately funded projects: TRU, East West Rail, and HS2.
You will be working on the largest, most career defining projects in the UK.
Required experience:
- 6 to 10 years\' experience on Railway projects.
- Chartered - CEng, essential.
- Able to author technical reports of acceptable technical and presentational quality.
- Good understanding of Network Rail standards as well as the relevant British Standards and Eurocodes.
- Must have Rail experience.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement experience.
- Must have civil design experience in Rail - specifically lineside civils.
- CRE experience beneficial.
- Leadership such as managerial or team leader experience.
- Right to work in UK.
