The CityVentures Team are currently looking to recruit Student Ambassadors to support the running of their events.

Duties and responsibilities
- Assist with the production of events from conception to completion;
- Welcome, greet and register participants and guests;
- Support participants and guests as required;
- Be knowledgeable and serve as first point of contact for CityVentures events and services queries;
- Collect event feedback and other information as required;
- Assist with marketing and communication activities, including distributing advertising materials and promoting events on social media;
You may also be required to complete other reasonable tasks within this role including:
- Promoting the CityVentures events and increasing the interest and signups amongst the City community;
- Providing assistance on the City annual business survey - this may include making telephone calls, data entry and some general administration work.
Skills and experience
Essential:
- Current City undergraduate and postgraduate students;
- Enthusiastic about City, University of London and knowledgeable about the University, particularly entrepreneurship at City;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to proactively sell;
- Excellent customer service skills;
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal;
- Excellent time management skills;
- Ability to work alone or as part of a team;
- Ability to use own initiative.
Desirable:
- Experience of working with a variety of people from different cultures, backgrounds and ages;
- Experience of working in an information-providing capacity;
- Experience in delivering excellent customer service;
- Knowledgeable about the benefits of higher education and entrepreneurship in general.
