Job Description

You will be joining a highly successful nationwide company, learning all the skills needed to become a highly trained chimney sweep.

If successful you will have the opportunity to go on and gain accredited qualifications as your skills and knowledge increase.

The role of a chimney sweep is not only sweeping chimneys but also building relationships with customers, advising on the current maintenance level of their stove or fireplace, recommending repairs, and giving out safety advice.

Skills and qualifications:

No experience necessary as full training will be provided. Full driving licence is essential. High attention to detail is essential. Must be physically fit, as the role can be demanding. A good understanding of IT, along with basic maths skills. Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to interact professionally with clients Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot chimney issues. Can-do, problem-solving attitude. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written

Working hours:

Basic hours will be 8:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday.

The role is very seasonal so flexibility during peak season is essential

During peak season opportunity to earn overtime

Location of work will be throughout Lanarkshire, Falkirk, Glasgow & The Lothians
