At Harmony Manor, we are seeking compassionate and dedicated Children's Support Workers to join our vibrant team. In this rewarding role, you will be a mentor, friend, and advocate for children who have faced significant challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide practical, day-to-day care for children in our home, including morning routines, mealtime assistance, and bedtime preparation.
Plan and deliver engaging, child-centred activities that promote cultural, physical, and recreational development.
Contribute to and implement effective care plans tailored to individual needs.
Foster therapeutic relationships that support emotional and social development.
Monitor and document the care and treatment of children.
About You
We're looking for resilient, empathetic individuals who are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children. Your life experiences will be invaluable in guiding and supporting our children. You will also need:
Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
Previous experience as a support worker, caring for children in a residential setting.
Skills that demonstrate effective communication and critical thinking.
A valid UK driving licence.
The legal right to live and work in the UK.
