Your New Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Crystal Care Solutions team for a Residential Children's Worker within one of our registered Children's Homes. Our aim and yours will be to transform the lives of looked-after children. As a Residential Children's Worker, every day will be different and you won't find a more rewarding career.
We want to hear from caring, enthusiastic and dedicated team players with a can-do approach who really care about the needs of young people. You'll enjoy working with children and young people, providing day to day support, guidance and activities. You'll create a safe, caring and supportive place to live for children and young people.
A full UK driving license, and a vehicle we ask that you get business insurance on is required for this role.
This role requires you to sleep in (50 per sleep in additional to your salary) following each shift.

Essential Job Requirements
Provide a safe environment for the young people in our care
Good communication skills with the ability to develop positive relationships
Be a good team player to provide a high level of care and achieve positive outcomes
Encourage the young people to be motivated and take part in activities, education and extracurricular activities
Have attention to detail ensuring correct information is recorded in all paperwork
Demonstrate a commitment to own training and development
Be able to adapt working practice to the ethos of the home
Have resilience, motivation and determination
Can adapt to challenging and changing situations
Be inclusive to all children and young people
Be confident in using Microsoft Office including Outlook and Word, or willing to learn
Be flexible and able to undertake shift work including weekends and sleep-ins.
Apply for enhanced DBS disclosure and if applicable, overseas criminal records checks
Full UK driving licence
Desirable Attributes
Diploma Level 3 qualified in Children and Young Persons Workforce or equivalent or willingness to work towards the above Level 3 qualification funded by the organisation
Knowledge of current legislation relevant to Children's Homes
Experience of Ofsted inspections
Understanding of attachment and trauma in relation to young people
