We are looking to fill a support worker role for daytime shift 8am to 8pm with 8pm to 8:am weekend availability. it's essential for applicants to have an automatic DBS update, ideally for children and young people prefered, as we are looking to fill this position quickly and need someone who can start as soon as possible.



Must hold a UK FULL driving Licence.

Where possible a permanent working base, to provide consistency of care and building positive relationship with our children and young people.

Working pattern:

8am - 8pm day shifts (Fully paid 12hr shift) Hours may vary to meet the needs of the business.

Two week rolling rota, allowing you to have a better work life balance.

(Please note we provide support to our children and young people 24hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Your working pattern will range over a 7 day working week pattern)

Staff will:
Provide support and assistance to our children and young people who have mental health needs, challenging behaviours, autism or other developmental disabilities
Implement individualised person centred support. Each child or young person has detailed in - depth care plans and risk assessments in place, these are super easy to follow to ensure our children and young people are getting the nurturing care they deserve.
Staff will complete shift handovers at the end of every shift to ensure important information about the children's day is transferred from shift to shift, making it easier for staff to provide the support that is needed.
Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation and medication administration and managing finances, also encouraging and offering support with cleaning, laundry and weekly shopping.
Being appointed as a child or young person's keyworker and ensuring all of their needs are being met
Support our children and young people in developing and improving their social and communication skills, including supporting them out in the community and doing activities, why not support our children and young people to go swimming, to the cinema, to a gig or even on a holiday
Monitor and accurately document individuals progress and behaviour data so it is important that staff are at a good level of speaking and written English.
Ensure the safety and well-being of our children and young people at all times and above all

The skills we are looking for:
- Experience working with children and young people with mental health needs, challenging behaviours, autism or other developmental disabilities is desirable where possible

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Patience, empathy, compassion and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations

- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
