Here at Viking House in Oxfordshire, we are looking to recruit a nurse to join our caring, skilled and experineced team. The service provides overnight respite care for children who have complex health needs and learning disabilities, in our purpose built six bedroom home in Headington. We are seeking a qualified nurse with experience of supporting children and young people who have additional needs and disabilities. Our nurses are responsible for the direct care of children, some whom have significant health needs. Our nursing staff hold a case load of link children and support the senior nurse with the delegated health care task training and assessment of the team. In addition to this the nurses routinely support the placement of student nurses on their nursing courses at Oxford Brookes and through the university of Hertfordshire. We provide excellent opportunities for further training and development, with access to the Barnardo\'s university and we also provide formal clinical supervision.
