Senior Residential Support Worker - Therapeutic Children's Home

Location: Oldham, OL3


Salary: 16 per hours & 70 per sleep


Shifts: 48-hour shifts + occasional 24-hour shifts (rota confirmed 6 months in advance)


Sleep-ins: 8-10 per month (essential)

Qualifications: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent


Experience: Minimum 1 year in a Children's Residential setting

About the Role

As a

Senior Residential Support Worker

, you'll play a vital role in transforming lives. You'll:


Deliver consistent, one-to-one therapeutic care to children aged 5-17 Support children in daily routines, education, and social activities -- from appointments to UK trips and holidays abroad Be a positive role model, providing stability, safety, and emotional support Help create a nurturing environment where children feel heard and valued Maintain accurate records in line with care plans Work collaboratively with a close-knit team and experienced manager Be resilient through the highs and lows -- and always ready to put the child first

What We're Looking For

?? At least 1 year's experience in a children's residential care setting


?? Level 3 Diploma (or equivalent) in Residential Childcare


?? A full UK driving licence


?? Passion, empathy, and a strong sense of purpose


?? Commitment to building a career in therapeutic care -- with support to gain your Level 5 Diploma and progress into management
