Nonstop care is currently recruiting for a social worker, ideally with experience working with looked after children, to join a well established local authority located in the South West of England. As a Social Worker part of the children in care team, you will have the opportunity to work with a low caseload, and have the flexibility of hybrid working options. And, with rates of up to \xc2\xa340/hr, you can expect to be rewarded for your hard work and dedication.

This role has low case loads, meaning you have more time to focus on creating better outcomes for the children in care without an overload of work, creating a better work/life balance and greater job satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out assessments, develop care plans, and provide support to looked after children and their families.
• Work collaboratively with other professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes for children and young people.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Comply with child protection procedures and relevant legislation.

Requirements:

• A social work qualification or equivalent.
• Post-qualified experience working with looked after children.
• Understanding of relevant legislation.
• Social Work England registered.
• A valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license.
