Managed by a team of directors elected from our member families, we focus on creating an inclusive environment that supports children of all ages, including those with additional support needs.

Summary

As a Childcare Practitioner at Mid Annandale Playcare, you will play a vital role in nurturing and supporting the development of children under 16 years of age. Your contributions will help create a safe and engaging environment where every child can thrive.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care and support to children in accordance with their individual needs. Engage children in educational and recreational activities that promote their development. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care. Collaborate with families and other staff members to create a supportive community. Maintain accurate records of children's progress. Assist in the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements

Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, families, and colleagues. A compassionate and patient demeanor when working with young children. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Relevant qualifications in childcare or early years education.
