Childcare Apprenticeship - Trainee Nursery Assistant - Culham Science Centre Nursery

Shoots Training are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship at Culham Science Centre Nursery at their Abingdon setting.


Culham Science Centre Nursery is a purpose built nursery based at the entrance to Culham Science Centre. From birth to 5 is when our children are shaped into the people they will become so it's vital young children get a good start in life.


Our team are warm, caring, enthusiastic and highly qualified; they know our children well and provide planned, well structured, varied and exciting play with kind encouragement and support. We play and learn everyday in fun, exciting ways, and develop important social skills for school and life

Your duties and responsibilities will include;

Observe all children's development constantly and support them to progress and develop Ensure that you understand your role in safeguarding children Be a reliable member of the team

Hours;

Culham Science Centre Nursery is open from 7.30am - 18:00pm Monday to Friday The successful candidate will be required to work 40 hours per week

Requirements;

You must be able to gain a clear DBS Have GCSE grades A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent
To understand the standards of learning and development within the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and how to implement these within the setting
