Past experience of working with young people is desired but not essential.

Team leaders should have a level 3 qualification as a minimum in addition to a year of experience.

Permanent staff will have the opportunity to enrol onto the level 4 program after a 6 month probation period.

Pay/benefits:



Permanent staff;

Child support worker- 11.50

Team leader- 13.50

Bank staff- 11.50

55.00 a sleep

Optional weekly pay for bank staff!

Staff incentives, bonuses and public holidays pay increase included. (Christmas- double pay, boxing day, new years eve etc- time and a half)

Training provided

22 days holiday per annum, plus equivalent number of bank holidays

Job description:



Based at Guisburn, Clitheroe, BB7 4JJ

At All Season Care Ltd we offer a 28 day short term placement as a holiday respite service for young people aged between 8 - 17 in crisis care. We strive to make a difference to the young person's life and promote structure and balance for future placements. We work at Ofsted quality standard in addition to following the 9 regulations of care.

We have vacancies available at All Season Care Ltd for both permanent and bank staff.

The working hours consist of a 2 on 4 off shift pattern (permanent basis).

You also have the option to join us as a bank staff member where you can pick and choose your shifts and also have the option of weekly pay as a bank staff member!

For example; Day 1 would start at 10am till 11pm which is when the sleep starts and ends at 8am the next day. Then again the shift continues until 11pm for the sleep. Staff will then end their shift the next day at 10:30am. All shifts are 2:1 staffing.

No two days will be the same when it comes to assisting young people in reaching their full potential. While on shift, you will be responsible for a wide range of chores, including cooking and cleaning, participating in activities and games, transporting Young People to appointments/meetings, handling troublesome behaviours, and simply sitting and watching TV with the Young People.

We want to establish a good, relaxing home environment in which young people feel protected, supported, and heard. Our industry-leading, award-winning learning and development team will induct you, and you will be guided in your role by more senior staff members, including psychologists/therapy team, to establish appropriate boundaries, manage behaviours effectively, and nurture the young people in your care towards positive futures.
