We are seeking a
Commercial Officer
to lead and scale our go-to-market efforts globally, with a strong emphasis on the
UK, Europe, and the USA
. This role will be at the forefront of Expede's global growth strategy, reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with product, partnerships, and investor stakeholders.
What You'll Do:
Lead and scale all commercial functions across
SaaS sales, enterprise partnerships, and revenue operations
Own go-to-market strategies for
government and regulated industries
, including energy, mining, and biodiversity sectors
Drive
Azure ecosystem alignment
, ensuring our products are best positioned within Microsoft's partner and reseller channels
Own and manage the Expede stratergy and listings within Microsoft Marketplaces such as Azure and Appsource
Build and close a pipeline of opportunities with major enterprise and public sector clients across the
UK, Europe, and the US
Develop and manage a high-performance sales team and external sales agents or partners
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to tailor messaging, campaigns, and demos for regional needs
Provide regular reporting to executive leadership and investors on revenue performance, sales velocity, and market feedback
About You:
Proven experience in
enterprise SaaS sales
(5+ years), ideally in
data management, compliance, or cloud-native platforms
Strong track record of
closing 6- to 7-figure deals
across the
UK, EU, and US
Deep understanding of
Azure Cloud services
, the Microsoft partner ecosystem, and public sector digital transformation
Demonstrated ability to navigate
complex procurement cycles
, particularly in
government and regulated industries
Strategic thinker with operational discipline--you can design sales systems and then execute at scale
Comfortable working in
startup/scale-up environments
where speed, iteration, and accountability are key
Strong communication and relationship-building skills--you're as effective with board members as you are with procurement leads
Bonus Points:
Background in
environmental, sustainability, energy or compliance sectors
Experience working with
Microsoft SIs, CSPs, and public sector frameworks
(G-Cloud, EU procurement portals)
Passion for
data, AI, and unlocking value in unstructured information
