Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Chef/Kitchen Manager to join our vibrant team at the Terrace Park Cafe & Kitchen. The role will be focusing on the cooking and kitchen management as well as service, but also supporting the front of house.

The ideal candidate will ensure the kitchen operates smoothly with excellent customer service. This position is perfect for individuals who have cooking and food preparation experience and now is looking to progress in their career. You need to enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, as well as be open to cross departmental working - we are one team here at the Terrace. Salary package depending on experience and skill set.

Duties

Food preparation, ensuring that all items are prepared according to health and safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by preparing food timely and at high standard Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and stores. Adhere to food safety regulations to ensure the highest quality of food and drink is served. Manage food stock and wastage. Manage all administration relating to kitchen operations and health and safety Input and ideas for menu items

Skills

Cooking and food preparation experience Orders and stock management Minimum level 2 food hygiene certificate Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues. Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to help where needed across various tasks.

Pay: 27,000.00-28,000.00 per year
