Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef / cook to join our already established team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, with a focus on food safety and meal preparation. As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in creating delicious dishes that delight our guests while maintaining the highest standards of quality and hygiene in the kitchen. Busy newly established business now open 12 months and in need of extra staff as trading well

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to our menu specifications. Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed. Assist in the planning of menus, taking into account seasonal availability and dietary requirements. Supervise kitchen staff and provide training on food preparation techniques. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Help develop new recipes and improve existing dishes to enhance guest satisfaction.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant environment. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety practices, and meal preparation processes. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. A passion for cooking and creating exceptional dining experiences for guests.
