Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation. Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen. Assist in managing inventory, ordering supplies, and minimising waste. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Monitor food quality and presentation, making adjustments as necessary to meet standards. Provide support during peak service times, ensuring all dishes are prepared to perfection.

Skills

Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety practices. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and presentation. Experience in menu planning and recipe development within a restaurant setting.
