Chef - Part-time

Location: Rivers Hospital, Sawbridgeworth

Hours: 22.5 per week, Part-time

Salary: Depending on experience + Benefits

Summary:

The Rivers Hospital is one of the leading private hospitals in the UK and is located in Sawbridgeworth on the Essex, Hertfordshire border in beautiful countryside.

The hospital is equipped with the latest medical facilities for diagnosis and treatment, and has very high quality clinical standards including effective infection prevention measures. By investing in advanced medical technology, the hospital offers a wide range of treatments and services.

The five fully equipped theatres with ultra clean air technology are particularly suitable for orthopaedic procedures offered such as arthroscopy, hip and knee replacement. Two-day surgery suites are suitable for minor surgery and endoscopy procedures.

The role:

We are looking for a Cook / Chef to join our kitchen team at Rivers Hospital. You will ensure all catering services are of the highest standard in both quality and presentation. You will have experience of working in the catering industry, including cooking for large numbers of people. Work in a healthcare setting would be beneficial but not essential.

Working pattern Monday - Friday shifts on schedule (to include an alternate weekends).

Experience of working as a Chef

Minimum of level 2 Basic Food Hygiene

A warm, considerate and empathetic character

The ability to make decisions and use your initiative
