We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant operations, food safety, and a flair for creating exceptional dishes. As a Chef, you will play a vital role in leading the kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of food preparation and production, and delivering an outstanding dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring all food is prepared to the highest standards. Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills. Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and operational procedures. Assist in cooking and food production during peak service times.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant setting, with a strong understanding of food safety practices. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary arts. Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of kitchen operations. A passion for hospitality and creating memorable dining experiences for guests. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 22 per week
