Job Description

Due to planned brand expansion, we are currently seeking talented chefs with an experience with pan-Asian cuisine(Chinese/Thai/Japanese/Malaysian) to join an award-winning and very popular Pan-Asian restaurant in Harrogate.

The Orchid Restaurant has been serving authentic Far Eastern flavours in a modern fashion for over 20 years! We have already received recognition for our dining and excellent service and require someone to join our restaurant and be part of a fantastic team already in place.

The applicant MUST HAVE an experience with Oriental Cuisine as part of your duty will be to create and elevate dishes on our menu as well as ensuring it's consistency. Experience of other Far Eastern cuisines will make you stronger candidate! You would also be required to work in different sections of the kitchen including the wok section and training will be provided.

The applicant also would ideally have experience in a high standard and busy restaurant service, branded or independent and a great personality.

The ideal candidate should be smart, proactive, confident and committed. Used to working in a high volume, customer focused environment. S/he will be working closely and reporting to the head chef.

Duties will include:

Receiving and distributing deliveries.
Prepare and cook delicious and visually appealing meals in a timely manner

Ensure that all food is prepared according to food safety standards and regulations

Collaborate with head chef to plan and create menus
