Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook/pizza chef experienced in Italian cuisine to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a keen interest in creating delicious meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall dining experience of our guests.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist with meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and of high quality. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and cooking equipment. Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards to ensure the safety of all food products. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed. Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within a restaurant environment. Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

Pay: 28,000.00-35,000.00 per year
