AGENCY CHEF'S FOR EITHER LONG TERM OR EXTRA HOURS.
The Chef de Partie would be reporting to the Sous Chef and be responsible for helping with the food production. The Chef de Partie will support the smooth day-to-day running of food preparation and working practices.
Support the Head Chef and Care home Manager to manage and deliver all catering services throughout the day , ensuring member choice, dignity, confidentiality, and safety are maintained.
Prepare nutritional food and beverages to a high standard, as directed by the Head Chef, promptly and in accordance with agreed mealtimes.
Prepare special diet meals as needed and as directed by the Head Chef.
Develop effective working relationships with other team members to ensure cost-effective, chargeable services are provided for members. Report any shortfalls to the Head Chef.
Support cost-effective stock control systems to minimise waste and ensure these are in place.
Ensure equipment checks are maintained, liaising with the Maintenance Manager to ensure equipment is serviced regularly. Report any faults immediately to the Maintenance Manager for action.
Take on the temporary role of Head Chef in their absence and comply with them responsibilities as outlined by the General Manager.
Attend initial and update mandatory training as required. Actively engage in personal professional supervision, including quarterly one-to-one meetings and a yearly performance review, ensuring personal professional knowledge and competency are maintained.
