Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation and meal assembly, ensuring that every dish meets our high standards of quality and presentation. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, collaborating with fellow kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring proper use and maintenance. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed. Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential. Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is highly desirable. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills in the culinary field. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
