As a CDP, you will assist in food preparation and basic cooking under the supervision of a senior chef. Duties
Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes to the highest standard.
Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in all kitchen areas, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Handle and store ingredients properly, ensuring freshness and minimizing waste.
Follow instructions from senior chefs and work collaboratively with the kitchen team.
Assist with stock rotation, inventory checks, and restocking supplies.
Prepare basic dishes as required, with room to develop culinary skills.
Contribute ideas for menu development and daily specials when appropriate.
Skills
Basic culinary training or relevant kitchen experience (entry-level candidates welcome).
Passion for food and willingness to learn new techniques and cuisines.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining composure under pressure.
Strong team player with good communication skills.
Awareness of health, safety, and hygiene standards.
