Responsibilities
Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and service.
Develop and prepare innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations.
Oversee food preparation processes to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and hospitality standards.
Collaborate with management to manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs.
Ensure the kitchen operates smoothly during service hours while maintaining a positive atmosphere.
Experience
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within a pub or restaurant setting.
Strong knowledge of food production techniques and kitchen management.
Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a collaborative environment.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure.
A passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
