After a successful launch in 2022, The JKS Apprenticeship Academy is back, offering a unique opportunity to work across the full portfolio, from Michelin stars to casual venues!

Designed to develop, nurture, and inspire the next generation of Hospitality talent. This is your chance to experience the industry at its most diverse, by training across our 14 brands, including 6 Michelin stars and 4 Michelin bib gourmands across multiple cuisines and dining styles.

LEVEL 2 COMMIS CHEF APPRENTICESHIP

As a JKS Apprentice, you\xe2\x80\x99ll need to have an eagerness to roll up your sleeves & get stuck into all aspects of your training!

Though no two days will be the same, here are some of your key responsibilities:

• Being a JKS Champion & upholding our brand standards
• The preparation, production, and service of all menu and related items
• Working alongside other chefs to ensure your sections are set up & closed efficiently
• Cook food to be proud of and know the menu inside out.

What you need to know:

• You\xe2\x80\x99ll spend 2 months placement working across six restaurants.
• Your salary will be \xc2\xa320,000 per annum.
• You\xe2\x80\x99ll be contracted to work 48 hours per week.
• Alongside training in the kitchens, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be expected to attend online & in-person training sessions, trips, and demonstrations with our suppliers.
• Upon completing your apprenticeship you\'ll have the chance to apply for a full-time role within one of the venues and could even move on to a higher-level apprenticeship!

What we need from you:

• A passion for food & a creative flare
• A willingness to learn & the ability to commit to a 12\xe2\x80\x9315-month qualification.
• An ability to work under pressure.
• Forward-thinking & not afraid to ask questions.
• A drive to succeed.
• To be over the age of 18

JKS Restaurants was founded by siblings Jyotin, Karam and Sunaina Sethi in November 2008. The group has received critical acclaim and industry recognition since its inception, including 6 Michelin stars, 4 Michelin Bib Gourmands and one restaurant ranked in the World\xe2\x80\x99s 100 Best restaurants.

The JKS portfolio currently includes Michelin Starred restaurants Trishna, Gymkhana, Kitchen Table, Sabor and Lyle\xe2\x80\x99s; as well as cult favourites Hoppers, BAO, Brigadiers, Berenjak, Plaza Khao Gaeng, Speedboat Bar and Bibi. Pubs include The Cadogan Arms and The George.
