Job Description

Cirencester Elite Cheer and Dance Academy are looking for a inspirational and professional coaches to join our academy. We a focus on dance routine, cheer, stunts and tumbling, branching into hip hop/street classes and are looking to expand with technical dance classes and parkour. Cheerleading experience is not necessary as we can offer training but a drive to learn and gain experience within cheer is required. Dance teachers may apply as Pom dance and cheer dance are primarily dance routines with added pom poms. A DBS check will have to be done but if you have a love of teaching ages between 4-18 we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement routines that incorporate dance elements and promote team spirit. Teach fundamental cheerleading skills and techniques to participants, ensuring a safe and supportive environment. Provide constructive feedback to students to enhance their performance and confidence. Organise and lead practice sessions, focusing on teamwork and collaboration. Foster a positive atmosphere that encourages participation and personal growth among all team members.
Qualifications

Strong background in sports coaching and teaching (preferable but not essential) Ability to motivate and inspire cheerleaders Basic knowledge of dance techniques and choreography Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Willingness to learn and develop coaching skills No prior experience required, but a passion for cheerleading and dance is essential
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.00-25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1.5 - 10 per week
