What you'll do





We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chatbot architect to lead the architecture strategy for TOBi, Vodafone UK's B2C chatbot service. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the iterative evolution of our chatbot architecture and working with a x-functional team to design & deliver business proposition supporting functional enhancements aligned to Vodafone's goals, and customer needs.



You will define long term architecture vision for TOBi that supports long term product and wider technology goals. You will impact assess new business Demands to provide a ROM (Rough Order of Magnitude) estimates based on a set of documented high-level requirements and solution assumptions. You will develop and maintain a comprehensive architectural runway that supports the TOBi product roadmap. You will work with Product Managers, Conversation Designers and Engineers to support refining Epic requirements and lead on definition of NFRs and solution design with input from relevant SMEs (Subject Matter Experts). You will protect the integrity & reusability of the solution throughout the lifecycle, keeping it simple where possible. You will support RCA (Route Cause Analysis) & identifying solution options for complex issues found during delivery or on live service when required.

Who you are





You will be able to demonstrate extensive expertise in conversational AI platforms and natural language processing (NLP) technologies. You will showcase knowledge and experience defining conversational AI solution designs (including key NFRs) for Enterprise scale B2C or B2B services available on the Internet following highly decoupled micro-service and micro-frontend architecture patterns. You will demonstrate a track record for creating an architecture vision and architectural runway to support high level product strategy and product roadmap. You will have the ability to convey solution designs using industry standard design frameworks such as UML (Unified Modelling Language) or C4 (Context, Containers, Components & Code) model. You will have a working knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies such as LEAN, Scrum & Kanban. If you have any experience designing & delivering Generative AI platform solutions or working with IBM and/or Microsoft Azure AI services this is advantageous.
