Ross-on-Wye & Monmouth Sea Cadets

is looking for enthusiastic and committed individuals to join our Unit Management Team (UMT) as

Charity Trustees

.

We are a local branch of the

national Sea Cadets charity

, working to give young people aged 10-18 a head start in life through

nautical adventure, leadership, and life skills

--all inspired by the traditions of the Royal Navy.

As a

Trustee

, you'll play a vital role in the oversight, strategy, and governance of our unit--helping us thrive and continue our mission to support young people.

What You'll Do:

Contribute to the

strategic direction and oversight

of the Sea Cadet unit Support

fundraising, financial management, compliance

, and community engagement Act as a

critical friend and supporter

to the uniformed volunteer team Help maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for cadets Attend

monthly trustee meetings

, and provide support between meetings where possible

We're Especially Interested in Individuals With Experience In:

Finance / Accounting Fundraising / Bid Writing Safeguarding / Welfare HR / Legal / Governance Marketing / PR / Social Media Community Engagement / Networking
