Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Fundraiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in developing and implementing fundraising strategies to support our organisation's mission. This position requires strong relationship management skills and the ability to engage with various stakeholders, including donors, community members, and volunteers.

Duties

Develop and execute fundraising campaigns to meet organisational goals. Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing and potential donors. Utilise market research to identify new fundraising opportunities and target audiences. Manage donor databases using software such as Raiser's Edge to track contributions and interactions. Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials for fundraising events. Provide exceptional customer service to donors, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly. Organise fundraising events, including planning logistics, coordinating volunteers, and ensuring successful execution. Prepare reports on fundraising activities and outcomes for internal review and stakeholder communication.

Skills

Strong relationship management skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences. Proficient in using fundraising software, particularly Raiser's Edge, for data management and reporting. Excellent customer service skills, ensuring a positive experience for all stakeholders. Effective public relations abilities to promote fundraising initiatives within the community. Knowledge of fundraising principles and best practices is advantageous. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated and proactive in achieving goals.
