I have a great opportunity for an experienced CEO to take full ownership of all site functions and to lead in a transformation focussed on increasing profitability, engagement of employees, diversifying the customer base and defining the structure through implementation of systems and processes that fit the business.
There will be a strong focus on Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and coaching, mentoring & developing an already strong team to deliver on the site-based objectives, along with a focus on driving improvements using lean manufacturing principles.
You will be able to balance both a hands on and strategic approach to ensure there is a clear business strategy whilst ensuring everyday operations are keeping up with the demand of the customer.
Responsibilities:

Full P&L responsibility & reporting.
Provide leadership coaching to your team to ensure optimal performance of each operation and hold them accountable for their performance.
Drive improvements through innovation and change management.
Implement modern / advanced manufacturing and engineering tools and methodologies.
Maintain & develop strong relationships with customers and suppliers, identifying new opportunities to support in diversifying the portfolio of customers.
Ensure that the company complies with all legal requirements, including health and safety, employment, data protection and other compliance.
Requirements:
A proven record of success in management, preferably at a similar level.
Experience of an Owner managed business transitioning to PE or similar.
This role requires recent, and extensive experience of machining and assembly operations.
Financially astute, understanding what drives profitability - Full P&L responsibility.
Proven ability to develop and execute transformational business plans.
Ability to lead and project-manage change.
Experience of implementing and promoting a continuous improvement culture.
Have the confidence and self-awareness to maintain a positive attitude for your team during the highs and lows of business.
Be the inspirational leader that is visible and supportive, helping the departments achieve their objectives.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to negotiate with powerful customers, ensuring customers\' expectations are met with commercially viable solutions.
Experience of ERP implementations.
The ability to balance both a hands on and strategic approach.
Excellent communication skills and able to engage with internal and external stake holders.
