About the role
Our hourly rate of pay ranges from \xc2\xa326.54 to \xc2\xa327.62 per hour for individual/group lessons, \xc2\xa335.36 to \xc2\xa335.96 per hour for whole class teaching and \xc2\xa340.00 to \xc2\xa340.68 per hour for leading ensembles. The salary is pro-rata to hours worked. This is a peripatetic role where teaching takes place during the school day, after school and Saturday mornings, at various schools and music centres in Surrey.

We have a great opportunity for a Cello Instrumental Teacher to join our talented team of experienced and committed teaching staff.
About the role
Surrey Arts is the lead youth music organisation in Surrey, and we provide music lessons, instrument hire, out of school music centres, activities and ensembles for young people.
You will join a team dedicated to "changing lives through world class arts". Surrey Arts is an ambitious and forward-thinking organisation that places young people at the centre of our work. We are committed to developing Surrey Arts as a genuinely inclusive organisation, and one that meets the needs of the whole diverse community of Surrey.
Across 33 weeks of the academic year, you will teach individual and group lessons to students as well as being the lower strings tutor for our local music centre ensembles in Redhill on a Thursday evening. We deliver to all key stages from Key Stage 1 and additional training will be provided for the delivery of our Stringbabies programme, which is an important element within our teaching offer. Saturday morning availability is desirable for our new music centre in Oxted.
In this role, you will be supported by a team of Administrators and an Area Manager to organise your schedule and timetables and you will be provided with annual paid CPD and training opportunities.
