Operations Lead
London and Glasgow

As a Barclays Operations Lead, you will have a unique chance to lead a team of up to 10 people including Operations Leads and Operations Managers. For this role, you will be accountable for the delivery and operationalising of virtual classroom and Face to Face sessions for Talent and Development which will include managing vendors, managing the scheduling and logistics support, and managing the provision of learning platform licences.

What will you be doing?

• Managing vendors on delivery of the operational service resources at each of the consistently excellent (CE) pathways and activities
• Being responsible for managing the logistics of training delivery across various sites, virtual classroom, delivery of learning pathways
• Being accountable for the operationalisation of learning sprints
• Driving up the standards and professional capability of the operational leads, training facilitators, and operations teams
• Ensuring that the team is resourced and equipped to fulfil their duties
• Ensuring that the team works within the overall governance standards and principles
• Being responsible for CE in action operations and execution supported by the Head of Operations
• Delivering against budget, maintaining a consistently excellent operations and delivery experience

What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for:

• Experience in managing a team of Operational learning professionals with excellent leadership and motivation skills including coaching and development of people
• Experience in facilitation and collaboration
• Understanding of business strategy and identifying key development drivers to develop an effective learning strategy
• Highly proficient in the use of Excel and PowerPoint in order to manipulate data and professionally present the findings

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Practical knowledge of current thinking and trends in learning and development
• A background in HR or Operational learning with a good knowledge of learning at a regional/group level
• Knowledge of the economy and market and customer trends affecting the business
• Recognised L&D or Training qualifications
