We're a traditional and much-loved pub in Charlton Kings, and we're looking for a talented and motivated

CDP

to join our dynamic kitchen team and help us to launch our food menu!

The Role:

As a CDP, you'll be working closely with our Head Chef to deliver high-quality, traditional dishes that our guests love. You'll be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations during service, supporting and training junior team members, and ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly in a busy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and development Ensure food preparation and service is of the highest standard Manage and mentor junior kitchen staff Oversee food safety and hygiene procedures Maintain stock levels and support with the management of ordering Take charge of the kitchen when the Head Chef is absent

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience as a CDP or in a similar role Holds the ability to cook with fresh ingredients Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and hygiene standards A passion for food and a keen eye for detail Excellent leadership skills and the ability to work under pressure A team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to delivering exceptional service
