You will be responsible for organising your team for the smoothest service ensuring high standards are maintained and the best quality food is on offer. Acting as host to our customers you will be passionate about our cause, and know our food inside out. You will share this expertise with your team, who will be motivated to use the same attention to detail and initiative to deliver a unique and memorable customer experience as you do.
You will also;
Engage the team in the plan for the day, organise and allocate tasks to ensure that the Cafe is all set to go, spotlessly clean, ensuring products are available and immaculately displayed
Interact and share advice with customers, keep up to date with your knowledge and know our food inside out to offer a great personal customer experience; how our food is made, what garnishes to use, dietary needs
Check in and review throughout the day. It is important to ensure maximum productivity and prompt service, plan colleague breaks, and ensure food is replenished, fresh and available for customers
You are responsible to complete daily paperwork, ensure it is accurate and compliant and that any concerns are escalated the catering manager. Ensure completion of daily and weekly cleaning tasks.
Be a whizz on the till - efficient and accurate. Lead by example and be quickly able to rectify any errors.
Support your colleagues by rolling your sleeves up and working alongside your team to deliver the smooth running of your shift, wherever is needed.
Support delivery of the learning journey to new colleagues, assist with engagement reviews and ensure completed in a timely manner
* Provide on the job coaching to equip your team with the tools to deliver brilliant customer service- help them learn to resolve problems and find a way that exceeds customer expectations
